Quick Start Guide for vTask Studio
(or, "Just show me how to do something!")


The easiest way to get started using vTask Studio is to use and modify the Samples that are included. But examples are the best teacher, so here we go...

1) In the Action List, double-click or drag the "User Prompt - Display Message" icon:

(if the Action List is not visible, choose the "View - Show Actions" menu item)



2) Now you'll have a new entry in the main list:



3) Double-click the new entry, and you'll see the Properties toolbox. In the Properties toolbox, change the message text:



4) Press the green Run toolbar button, and see your first vTask script in action!




All future tasks you will create with vTask Studio will be based on the same simple steps: Drag & drop commands, modify their properties, and run your script. After a few minutes of using vTask Studio, you will be an expert at creating any automation script you need.
